Inspired by the soft calm of early mornings on the Gold Coast, Mermaid Beach blends minimalism with sculpted texture to capture the gentle rise of waves and the quiet beauty of the sand dunes. Seagulls drift across a blush horizon, while raised grasses and tiny dune blossoms trace the shoreline. This piece blends minimalism with tactility, inviting the viewer to not only see the coastline, but to feel it - its softness, its stillness, its slow-breathing calm. A contemplative homage to Mermaid Beach, this piece reflects on belonging, peace, and the way certain places hold the truest version of us.
